I was so excited when I moved into my first “adult apartment”. No housemates, no housemate clutter, no inherited items of ugly found during a night out and being able to finally make my own choices in the decoration of my home.
I have some difficulty sleeping at night so I wanted to make my room a calm oasis, nothing to bright and garish and nothing to distract me from sleeping. My bed is the Leirvik from Ikea, the bedsheets are from Ikea as well and I have strung fairy flights through the frame. Instead of picture’s I hung an old dress I haven’t been able to fit into for a while, some inspiration while Im loosing weight.
Just keeping it real…
Someone needs to tell my clothes to start hanging themselves because I’m never going to do it.

Love the fairylights! I might steal your idea… Haha.. I like your bed too… I always have bought wooden bed frames though cos I worry that metal construction beds may make more noise? Is this the case?!! Haha hopefully you have had an eventual week bein single and can answer for me
haahahaha. I am a messy lazy grot my stuff is permanently strewn around the floor. I bought a new bed yesterday I will post once its assembled! (in 9 years when I can guilt someone Into helping me….) love the blog shall defs be following! X
I assembled my bed myself because I had no one to help. It took 2 hours, lots of swearing and boxes artfully placed to rest the unsupported frame on. Don’t you worry the bed doesn’t make to much noise because it has a wood slat base.
